1968 Olympics

from $22.00

During the civil rights movement in 1968, these two black men, Tommie Smith and John Carlos were representing a country that did not see nor treat them as equals. Tommie and John used their sports platform at the 1968 olympics to protest peacefully for the Black Freedom Movement in front of the world. They both sacrificed their medals and sports career to stand for change in America. This picture represents the staying power that Black people live with day to day in America currently.

Available in crewneck sweatshirt, hoodie, sage t-shirt, sunset t-shirt, and black t-shirt. All are unisex sizing and made out of a cotton blend.
