Hi - Alicia here! I’m the owner of And Love. The And Love Logo has been in my heart since I was about 12 years old. I have always been obsessed with the idea of love and I’ll admit that I’m a hopeless romantic. I used to doodle the logo in my notebooks and all over my arms too. Truthfully it held little meaning to me at that point. It was really just a cute drawing that I loved to see.
About 5 years ago, I was starting to dream of turning my crafty hobbies into a real business. One morning I was doing a devotional and the daily scripture was 1 Corinthians 13:13, “And now these three remain: Faith, Hope, AND LOVE. But the greatest of these is love.” The words And Love jumped out at me and all the memories of the middle school girl came flooding back. I knew immediately that I had to incorporate those words into the name of my business. So, after a few months of procrastination and doubt, my husband finally encouraged me to just take the leap. The And Love Company was born in October 2020 and has continued to be just as special to me since that day.
The mission of The And Love Company is to create products with love, that feel like love, and that give love. I don’t want to have any interaction or create anything that isn’t first grounded in love. I specialize in apparel and drinkware that is typically released in “collections”. I also do custom orders and have worked with individuals to create products for themselves or their businesses.
I am really most proud of the brand and what And Love stands for. If you read into the scripture/story from which the name of the company was created from (1 Corinthians 13:13), you’ll find a story of people getting too focused on the rules. laws, regulations, titles, and how people should be and act. At the end of the story, they are all reminded that without love, nothing else matters. If you don’t act with love, the rules and titles are meaningless. My goal is to reach people and love them unconditionally. I hope that every time you wear or use my products, they act as a symbol of hope and encouragement, reminding you that YOU ARE LOVED.
